Year 3 & 4

The 6 week clerkship rotation is divided into 2 week and 4 week blocks.  During the 4 week block the student will work with a community preceptor in a private practice in London or a rural community outside of London.  They will spend their 2 week block with a family practice team in one of the family medical teaching units located in London or Mt. Brydges.

Students will be expected to track their patient encounters based on our objectives that will require your confirmation.  As well, during their 2 week rotation they will be visiting the Middlesex-London Health Unit for a half day and required to complete project.

On the last Friday of their 6 week rotation, they will have an exit exam using the electronic audience response system as well as an exit interview with our Program Director.  They will have access to online learning modules in dermatology and online cases created specifically for clerkship students.
